The Anaheim Ducks have added an NCAA national chamion.
Western Michigan University captain Tim Washe signed a one-year entry-level contract with the Ducks on Monday, the team announced.
The six-foot-three right winger scored 16 goals and added 22 assists for 38 points in 42 games for the Broncos this season. Washe recorded two assists in the championship game, had four points in the NCAA tournament, and was named to the All-Tournament Team.
The 23-year-old completed five seasons at Western Michigan and had 28 goals and 46 assists for 74 points in a program record 171 games.
