Dvorak to make season debut tonight for Canadiens vs. Blues

Montreal Canadiens Christian Dvorak will make his season debut against the St. Louis Blues, coach Martin St. Louis confirmed on Saturday.

Dvorak was injured during a game on March 7 and underwent season-ending surgery days later, and hasn't played since.

The Canadiens sent defenceman Gustav Lindström down to the AHL to make room for Dvorak.

The 27-year-old Dvorak recorded 10 goals and 18 assists in 64 games last season.

Montreal acquired Dvorak from the Arizona Coyotes in September 2021 for a first-round pick in 2022 and a second-round draft pick in 2024. He has 207 points (88 goals and 119 assists) in 422 games over seven seasons with the Coyotes and Canadiens.
