First six players for United States' 4 Nations Face-Off roster announced

We have our first look at the United States' 4 Nations Face-Off team.

On Friday, ahead of the start of the 2024 NHL Draft, the first six players for each team's 4 Nations Face-Off roster were announced.

The U.S. team will be led by general manager Bill Guerin and head coach Mike Sullivan.

Here is a look at the first six players taking to the ice for USA Hockey in February's tournament:

First Six

Auston Matthews, Toronto Maple Leafs
Matthew Tkachuk, Florida Panthers
Jack Eichel, Vegas Golden Knights
Adam Fox, New York Rangers
Quinn Hughes, Vancouver Canucks
Charlie McAvoy, Boston Bruins

The seven-game international tournament involving Canada, Finland, Sweden and the United States is set to take place from Feb. 12-20, 2025, at the Bell Centre in Montreal and TD Garden in Boston.
