The most interesting man in the NHL is back.
The Calgary Flames activated goaltender Devin Cooley from injured reserve on Thursday, Sportsnet's Eric Francis reported.
Arsenii Sergeev was assigned to the AHL's Calgary Wranglers in a corresponding move.
Cooley has been out since he suffered a lower-body injury on Oct. 28 in a game against the Edmonton Oilers.
Oilers forward Colton Dach crashed into Cooley with 12 seconds remaining in the opening 20 minutes and received a two-minute penalty for goaltender interference.
Cooley remained in for the final 12 seconds but was not on the bench to start the second. He was then ruled out for the remainder of the game with a lower-body injury.
The 29-year-old had been red-hot before he went down injured, allowing just six goals on 133 shots over his previous four starts.
With Cooley out, Dustin Wolf started three of four games, picking up two wins.
Cooley's first chance to return to the net will be on Friday when the Flames host the Anaheim Ducks.
