The Calgary Flames have assigned sophomore winger Jakob Pelletier to AHL Calgary, the team announced Tuesday.
The forward has played 13 games with the big club this season, recording one goal and 13 points. He suffered a shoulder injury ahead of the 2023-24 season and required surgery, which delayed his season debut until February.
Pelletier, 23, was selected in the first round, 26th overall, by the Flames in the 2019 NHL Draft.
