Calgary Flames goalie Jacob Markstrom appears to be on the road to recovery after working out with the Calgary Wranglers on Wednesday.
Markstrom has been sidelined since sustaining a fractured finger during a practice on Dec. 4. He has posted a 6-8-2 record this season with a 2.94 GAA and an .896 save percentage in 16 appearances. He was placed on injured reserve on Saturday.
Dan Vladar and Dustin Wolf have filled in during Markstrom's absence. Markstrom last played on Dec. 2, in a 4-3 loss to the Canucks. Since then, the Flames are 1-4.
