Calgary Flames goaltender Jacob Markstrom is week-to-week with a broken finger, the team announced Tuesday.
The Flames added no surgery is required. Markstrom suffered the injury in practice on Monday.
The team has recalled goalie Dustin Wolf from the AHL's Calgary Wranglers ahead of Tuesday's home game against the Minnesota Wild. Dan Vladar is the other goalie on the Flames' roster.
Wolf is 10-3-2 with a 2.50 GAA and a .920 save percentage this season in the AHL. He was the most valuable player in the AHL last season.
Markstrom has started 16 of the club's 24 games this season, going 6-8-2 with a 2.94 goals-against average and .896 save percentage.
The 33-year-old Swede was a Vezina Trophy finalist in 2021-22 with the Flames before his numbers took a dip last season in a non-playoff year for Calgary.
