Calgary Flames defenceman Michael Stone will make his return from a lower-body injury Sunday night against the Anaheim Ducks.
The injury kept Stone out of the Flames' lineup for the past 20 games. He last played on Feb. 18. Stone's return relegates fellow defenceman Dennis Gilbert to the press box.
Stone has five goals and five assists in 46 games for the Flames this season.
His return comes at an ideal time for the Flames, with every game essentially being do-or-die for the club. With six games left to play, they entered Sunday night's action just two points back of the Winnipeg Jets for the final wild-card spot in the Western Conference.
