The Calgary Flames have activated Zac Rinaldo and Connor Mackey from the taxi squad and placed Derek Ryan on long-term injured reserve.
Ryan suffered a fractured finger against the Winnipeg Jets on Thursday. The 34-year-old has an assist in 10 games for Calgary this season.
Ronaldo has not played this season and could make his season debut Saturday as the Flames take on the Edmonton Oilers in the Battle of Alberta. The 30-year-old is in his second season with the Flames, playing in 10 games.
Mackey joined the Flames as an undrafted free agent back in March after playing three seasons at Minnesota State University.
