The Calgary Flames announced Friday they have recalled defenceman Yan Kuznetsov from the Calgary Wranglers of the American Hockey League.
Kuznetsov, who has yet to make his NHL debut, has two goals and five assists in 31 games with the Wranglers this season.
The 21-year-old from Murmansk, Russia, was drafted in the second round, 50th overall, by the Flames in 2020. He captured the Memorial Cup with the Saint John Sea Dogs in 2022.
The Flames (17-16-5) have won three consecutive games and hit the road to face the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday.
