The Calgary Flames have signed one of their 2024 draft picks to an entry-level contract.
Calgary announced Sunday afternoon that it has agreed to a three-year contract with second-rounder Andrew Basha.
The deal with the five-foot-11 left-wing carries an average annual value of $897,500.
Basha, 18, scored 30 goals and 55 assists in 63 games for the WHL's Medicine Hat Tigers in the 2023-24 season before adding five points in the post-season.
A Calgary native, Basha skated in two pre-season games with the Flames, recording one assist.
Basha was sent back to Medicine Hat on Thursday. He has since registered a goal and assist in two games with the Tigers.
