The Calgary Flames have signed forward Cody Eakin to a professional tryout, the club announced Sunday.
Eakin played his last two seasons with the Buffalo Sabres, producing four goals and eight assists over 69 games in 2021-22.
The 31-year-old from Winnipeg previously played for the Washington Capitals, Dallas Stars, Vegas Golden Knights and Winnipeg Jets.
Eakin, Vegas' selection from Dallas in the franchise's expansion draft, had his most productive season in the Sin City — registering 22 goals and 19 assists over 79 games to go with a plus-19 rating in 2018-19.
