Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Carter Hart has officially been cleared to play after being placed in concussion protocol, according to Jeff Marek during Hockey Night in Canada's 32 Thoughts segment on Saturday night.
Hart has already begun skating and playing with the team but did not play in the Flyers' afternoon game on Saturday against the Los Angeles Kings.
The Flyers revealed Hart suffered an upper-body injury against the Carolina Hurricanes last week, when he collided helmet-to-helmet with Hurricanes centre Seth Jarvis.
The 24-year-old was cleared on Friday and as per Marek, we can expect to see him back between the pipes for the Flyers on Monday against Anaheim.
Hart has a 10-11-6 record this season with a 2.89 goals-against average and .911 save percentage.
