Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Sam Ersson suffered a lower-body injury during Saturday's game against the Boston Bruins.
The 25-year-old had his skate blade pop off after saving a shot in the first period but did stay in the game. Ersson then went to the bench and had a conversation with a Flyers' trainer before exiting.
Aleksei Kolosov replaced Ersson in goal for the remainder of the game.
Ersson has a 4-2-1 record, a 2.72 goals-against average (GAA), and a .897 save percentage in eight games this season.
