Though it's still only the pre-season, it's safe to say Matvei Michkov is fitting in just fine in the NHL.
Across his three appearances for the Philadelphia Flyers, the 19-year-old Russian has already recorded three goals and six points.
Two of those goals came in the Flyers' 3-2 overtime win against the Boston Bruins on Saturday.
His first was a power-play marker in the second period, while his second sealed the game as the overtime winner.
Drafted seventh overall by the Flyers in 2023, Michkov is set for his first NHL season after coming over from the KHL.
In 47 games with HK Sochi last season, he recorded 41 points (19 goals and 22 assists).
