The Philadelphia Flyers are moving on from Mike Yeo and searching for a new head coach, Sportsnet can confirm.
The former Flyers assistant coach was promoted to interim head coach after Alain Vigneault was fired in December.
Under Yeo, the Flyers went 17-36-7 and missed the playoffs.
Previously, Yeo was the head coach of the Minnesota Wild and St. Louis Blues.
The Flyers become the third team confirmed to be searching for a coach this off-season following the Detroit Red Wings and Winnipeg Jets.
