Erik Johnson is re-upping in Philadelphia.
The defenceman signed a one-year, $1 million dollar contract with the Philadelphia Flyers on Monday.
Johnson, 36, signed a one-year deal in Buffalo as a free agent this summer, but was traded to the Flyers ahead of the trade deadline.
Selected first-overall at the 2006 NHL Draft by the St. Louis Blues, he spent the first three seasons with the franchise, before he was traded to the Colorado Avalanche. He won a Stanley Cup with that club in 2022.
In 67 games this season split between the Sabres and Flyers, Johnson scored five goals and registered six points.
