Former Edmonton Oilers centre Devin Shore signed a one-year, two-way contract worth $775,000 with Seattle, the Kraken announced Thursday.
Shore, 29, had one goal and eight assists for nine points in 47 games for the Oilers last season.
The six-foot-one, 206-pound Ajax, Ont., native has 50 goals and 85 assists for 135 points in 422 regular-season NHL games with the Oilers, Columbus Blue Jackets, Anaheim Ducks and Dallas Stars, adding one assist in four Stanley Cup Playoff games.
