Vegas Golden Knights goaltender Robin Lehner says he will not play for Sweden at the Beijing Olympics.
Took long time to make decision with my psychiatrist and family. My well being have too come first and being locked down and not knowing what happens if you test positive is to much of a risk for me. Sweden will have a great team and Markström is a beast.Hope people understand

Lehner made the announcement on Twitter after his Golden Knights beat fellow Swedish goaltender Jacob Markstrom and the Calgary Flames 3-2 on Sunday night.
Lehner’s decision makes Markstrom the heavy favourite to be Sweden’s starting goaltender if NHLers go to the Olympics in Feburary.
The NHL has a Jan. 10 deadline to withdraw from the Olympics without financial penalty.
