The Vegas Golden Knights have signed defenceman Ben Hutton to a two-year, $1.95-million extension, the team announced Friday.
The extension carries an average annual value of $975,000.
Hutton joined the Golden Knights as a free agent at the start of the 2021-22 season and has appeared in 117 regular season games with Vegas. He has one goal and seven assists through 28 games in 2023-24.
Over his career, the veteran defenceman has played in 496 NHL games with the Golden Knights, Toronto Maple Leafs, Anaheim Ducks, Los Angeles Kings and Vancouver Canucks.
Hutton, 30, was a fifth-round selection (147th overall) by the Canucks in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
