Golden Knights sign G Cameron Whitehead to two-year, entry-level contract

The Vegas Golden Knights are adding some depth to the crease ahead of the post-season.

The Golden Knights have signed goaltender Cameron Whitehead to a two-year, entry-level contract, the team announced Thursday.

Before signing, Whitehead played collegiate hockey at Northeastern University, appearing in 35 games and picking up a 13-17-3 record this past season. He carried a 2.74 goals-against average and .911 save percentage.

The 21-year-old helped his team to the semifinals of the 2025 Hockey East conference tournament, defeating No. 1 seed Boston College in the process. His team was then eliminated by the University of Maine.

Whitehead was selected by the Golden Knights in the fourth round, 128th overall, at the 2022 NHL Draft.
