Vegas Golden Knights defenceman Shea Theodore had successful surgery to help repair an upper-body injury and will be out week to week, the team announced Wednesday.
Theodore sat out the Golden Knights' last three games and was placed on injured reserve on Sunday.
The 28-year-old defenceman had four goals and 18 points in 20 games before the injury.
Kaedan Korczak was recalled from the AHL and has replaced Theodore in the lineup.
After starting their season on fire, the Golden Knights have lost three straight and five of their past six. They still sit atop the Pacific Division with a 14-5-4 record.
