  • How Oilers and Blues can clinch berth to Stanley Cup Playoffs

Another Canadian NHL club will look to book its ticket to the Stanley Cup Playoffs while one of the hottest teams looks to continue its Cinderella run.

The Edmonton Oilers can clinch another playoff berth and cement their spot in the top three in the Pacific Division, but they will need some help from a division rival.

If the Oilers beat the Anaheim Ducks and the Calgary Flames lose to the Sharks in regulation, Edmonton can finish no worse than third in the Pacific Division, which would lock it into a playoff spot.

In the Pacific Division, the Vegas Golden Knights have a five-point lead over the Oilers and the Los Angeles Kings for first place. A victory over the Ducks would position a fourth straight first-round matchup between the Oilers and Kings.

The St. Louis Blues will look to continue their stellar stretch of hockey when they take on the Winnipeg Jets on Monday.

If the Blues beat the Jets in regulation and the Flames lose to the Sharks in regulation, St. Louis will return to the playoffs.

The Blues are on a franchise-best 12-straight win streak and could look to challenge some of the top winning streaks in recent memory. The 1992-93 Pittsburgh Penguins have the longest consecutive games winning streak in a season at 17, followed by the Oilers, who won 16 straight last season.
