Carolina Hurricanes forward Sebastian Aho and Seth Jarvis have been added to the NHL’s COVID protocols, the team announced Monday.
A training staff member has also entered the protocol. All three will remain in Vancouver — where the team played Sunday night — while in quarantine.
Aho missed the Canucks game with what the team initially called an illness while Jarvis played in the game. Both players were also in the lineup last Thursday against the Calgary Flames.
On Monday, the Flames postponed three games after six players were added to protocols.
Hurricanes defencemen Brett Pesce and Tony DeAngelo have been in the protocols since Nov. 28.
Aho has been one of the hottest scorers in the NHL this season and is currently tied for fifth in the league with 32 points in 26 games.
Jarvis has 11 points in 20 games and is currently ninth in rookie scoring.
The Hurricanes continue their road trip with a game against the Minnesota Wild Tuesday and host the Detroit Red Wings on Thursday.
