Carolina Hurricanes goaltender Frederik Andersen exited Wednesday's game against the Dallas Stars with an upper-body injury after the first period, the team announced.
Antti Raanta replaced Andersen with the Hurricanes down 2-1.
Andersen is 9-3 with a 2.40 goals-against average and .910 save percentage this season.
Andersen was activated off injured reserve on Jan. 11 after missing more than two months with a lower-body injury.
