The Carolina Hurricanes have re-signed forward Jesper Fast to a two-year, $4.8 million deal.
Fast was a pending unrestricted free agent after recording 14 goals and 27 points in 80 games. The 31-year-old also had six goals and nine points in 15 Stanley Cup Playoff games.
The Swedish forward was drafted in the sixth round by the New York Rangers in the 2010 NHL Draft. He signed a three-year, $6 million deal with Carolina back in 2021.
