The Carolina Hurricanes have signed forward Brendan Lemieux to a one-year, $800,000 deal, the team announced Tuesday.
Lemieux has 69 points in 275 career NHL with the Winnipeg Jets, New York Rangers, Los Angeles Kings and Philadelphia Flyers.
The 27-year-old forward spent last season with the Flyers, where he played 18 games and had two goals and four assists.
Lemieux was originally drafted by the Buffalo Sabres with the 31st overall pick in the 2014 NHL Draft.
