New York Islanders centre Casey Cizikas is sticking around for the long haul signing a six-year, $15-million contract with the club Wednesday.
Cizikas was an unrestricted free agent after registering 14 points in 56 regular season games last season. He also had five points in 19 playoff games as the Islanders reached the third round.
The 30-year-old from Toronto has 185 career points in 590 regular season games since the Islanders drafted him in the fourth round, 92nd overall, in 2009.
