The New York Islanders have signed Pierre Engvall to a seven-year deal with an annual cap hit of $3 million per season.
Engvall was acquired by the Islanders at the trade deadline in March from the Toronto Maple Leafs for a third-round pick in 2024.
The 26-year-old had 17 goals and 30 points in 76 games. He was selected in the seventh round of the 2014 NHL Draft by Toronto.
