Jaromir Jagr made his season debut for the Kladno Knights in the Czech Extraliga, at the prime age of 50.
Due to an illness around the team, the owner had to lace up the skates for the first time since last April and lent his squad a helping hand. Jagr picked up two assists over 15:10 of ice time as the Knights took a 7-3 loss to Liberec.
Jagr, who will turn 51 in two months, recorded 1921 points (766 goals, 1155 assists) in 1733 NHL games over a 24-year span in North America.
Since leaving the Calgary Flames in 2018-19, Jagr has played at least one game for Kladno in the past six Czech first and second-division seasons.
