Jets' Chibrikov, Lambert to make NHL debuts vs. Canucks

Ahead of their regular-season finale Thursday night, Winnipeg Jets head coach confirmed forwards Nikita Chibrikov and Brad Lambert will make their NHL debuts.

Lambert, 20, was selected by the Jets in the first round (30th overall) of the 2022 NHL Draft. In 63 games this season with their AHL affiliate, the Manitoba Moose, Lambert has recorded 54 points (20 goals and 34 assists).

Chibrikov, 21, was selected by the Jets in the second round (50th overall) of the 2021 draft. He has 46 points (17 goals and 29 assists) over 69 games with the Moose this season.

The two young players slot into the lineup with the Jets set to rest Josh Morrissey, Brenden Dillon, Kyle Connor, Mark Scheifele, Vladislav Namestnikov and Adam Lowry against the Vancouver Canucks. Additionally, Morgan Barron will not play due to injury.
