Winnipeg Jets forward Pierre-Luc Dubois left Friday’s practice early, but head coach Paul Maurice says he remains “probable” to play in Saturday’s game against the Ottawa Senators.
Dubois, who made his Jets debut on Tuesday in a 3-2 loss to the Calgary Flames, left the rink feeling fine after last night’s game against the Senators, according to Maurice, but had “something tighten up on him” today that couldn’t be immediately resolved.
“We’ll get him checked out,” Maurice told reporters Friday. “I’m going to list him as probable, because that’s how he came to the rink this morning, and we expect him to be playing. But he’s going to get checked out today.”

The 22-year-old’s availability will play a role in whether the Jets play 12 forwards and six defencemen Saturday, or if they opt to go with 11 and seven once more, as they did in Thursday’s game against the Senators.
In his first two games with the Jets, Dubois has been held pointless while averaging 15:18 of ice time.
Live coverage of Saturday’s game between the Jets and Senators begins at 3 p.m. ET on Sportsnet.
