Winnipeg Jets forward Nikolaj Ehlers will miss his second game in a row with an undisclosed injury on Thursday when his team faces the Vegas Golden Knights, the team says.
Ehlers also was out Wednesday for the Jets' 4-3 overtime win over the Colorado Avalanche.
“We’re still trying to figure him out here. It’s been nagging," Jets associate coach Scott Arniel said after Wednesday's game. "We’ll just discuss it tomorrow and see where it goes."
The Denmark native had 55 points (28 goals, 27 assists) in 62 games for the Jets last season.
The Jets’ first-round pick (ninth overall) in 2014, Ehlers has 361 points (164 goals, 197 assists) in 480 career games.
Jets defenceman Dylan Samberg also was out with an undisclosed injury.
