Winnipeg Jets forward Patrik Laine will miss Monday’s game against the Toronto Maple Leafs with an upper-body injury, coach Paul Maurice told reporters.
Laine practised on Monday and Sunday, but left early on both occasions. He is listed as day-to-day. Jansen Harkins will enter the lineup Monday in his place.
In Winnipeg’s season opener Thursday, Laine had two goals and an assist in a 4-3 win over the Calgary Flames. Monday’s game against Toronto begins at 7 p.m. ET.
