The Winnipeg Jets have agreed to terms with defenceman Johnathan Kovacevic on a one-year, two-way contract worth $750,000, the team announced Friday.

The 24-year-old recorded 14 points in 29 games in the AHL for the Manitoba Moose last season. The Grimsby, Ont. native has appeared in 75 games for the Moose with 28 points over parts of three seasons.
Kovacevic was drafted by Winnipeg in the third round of the 2017 NHL Draft.
