The Winnipeg Jets have signed forward Fabian Wagner to a three-year, entry-level contract, the team announced Thursday.
Wagner, 19, was drafted by the Jets in the sixth round (175th overall) at the 2022 NHL Draft.
The Swede spent the 2022-23 season playing for Linkoping's SHL and junior squads. In 33 games for the Linkoping under-20 team, Wagner recorded 33 points (11 goals and 22 assists). He also represented his country at the 2023 IIHF World Junior Championship, recording six points (two goals and four assists) across seven appearances.
Wagner's contract caries an AAV of $858,333 in the NHL.
