The Winnipeg Jets have signed forward Marko Dano to a one-year, two-way contract worth $700,000 at the NHL level.
Dano spent the 2019-20 season as a member of the Columbus Blue Jackets and was held scoreless in three games. The 25-year-old appeared in 46 games for the AHL’s Cleveland Monsters, where he had 19 points.
This is Dano’s second stint with the Jets, playing in 82 games for Winnipeg over parts of four seasons with the organization. He is currently playing with Trencin in the Slovakian Extraliga.
Dano was originally selected by Columbus in the first round, 27th overall, in the 2013 NHL Draft.
