The Winnipeg Jets have added another goaltender to their prospect pool.
The club announced they've signed 21-year-old Thomas Milic to a three-year, entry-level contract worth $2.525 million. The deal carries an average annual value of $841,700.
Milic, a fifth-round draft pick in 2023, played 33 games with the Jets' AHL affiliate, the Manitoba Moose, and had a 19-9-2 record. He was the starting goaltender for both Calder Cup playoff games.
Milic put on an MVP performance for Team Canada at the 2023 World Juniors, leading them to a gold medal with a perfect 5-0-0 record, .923 save percentage and 1.76 goals-against average.
