Jets small home underdogs against Oilers on Tuesday NHL odds

An all-Canadian clash will highlight the NHL’s betting slate on Tuesday as the Winnipeg Jets play host to Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl, and the Edmonton Oilers as small -105 home underdogs on the NHL odds at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

Winnipeg has produced steady results in the early going this season, racking up an 8-3-3 record that has lifted them into a tie for second place in the Central Division standings going into Tuesday night’s matchup with Edmonton at the Canada Life Centre.

The Jets have picked up at least a single point in 11 of 12 outings since opening their schedule with a pair of regulation losses. And Winnipeg has been particularly productive on home ice, compiling a 6-1-1 record there, including a 4-1-1 mark during the current homestand that will come to a close on Tuesday night.

The Oilers, meanwhile, arrive in Winnipeg looking to overcome their first bout of inconsistency of the season. Edmonton has been forced to play catch-up in each of the first four dates on its current five-game road trip. The Oilers have gone 2-2-0 during that stretch after storming out of the gate on a 9-1-0 run. The team also has work to do to snap a four-game losing streak against Winnipeg, capped by three straight defeats by just a single goal.

Elsewhere on Tuesday night, the Montreal Canadiens will be looking for answers as they visit the New York Rangers as +125 underdogs at sports betting sites. The Canadiens opened their three-game road trip with weekend losses in Detroit and Boston, and have been outscored by a wide 29-15 margin while going 1-6-1 on the road this season. The Rangers return to action after extending their current win streak to three games with Sunday’s 4-3 win over the Devils.

Also on the board on Tuesday night, a pair of three-game win streaks will be on the line as the Toronto Maple Leafs host the Nashville Predators as -195 betting favourites, while the Calgary Flames vie for consecutive wins for the first time this month as they visit the Philadelphia Flyers as -125 chalk. The Flames are 7-3 in their last 10 games against the Flyers according to the OddsShark NHL Database, beating them by a 4-0 score at home back on October 30
