The Winnipeg Jets have replaced backup goalie Laurent Brossoit by signing Kaapo Kahkonen.
The deal is for one year and $1 million.
Brossoit signed with the Chicago Blackhawks earlier Monday.
Kahkonen split last season between the San Jose Sharks and New Jersey Devils, putting up a 3.64 goals-against average and .898 save percentage in 37 games.
Kahkonen has a 3.33 GAA and .899 save percentage in 139 career games with Minnesota, San Jose and New Jersey.
