Los Angeles Kings forward Kevin Fiala will make his return to the lineup for Sunday's Game 4 against the Edmonton Oilers, the team announced.
Fiala has been out since April 1 with a lower-body injury he suffered after a knee-on-knee collision with Colorado Avalanche forward Andrew Cogliano.
His return will be a huge boost for the Kings, who are looking to take a 3-1 stranglehold on the opening-round series. Fiala's 72 points in 69 games were the second-highest point total on the team this season, behind only Anze Kopitar's 74.
The 26-year-old forward has nine goals and six assists in 35 career playoff games with both the Minnesota Wild and Nashville Predators.
This is Fiala's first season in a King's uniform after he was acquired in an off-season trade on June 29.
You can watch Fiala make his return for a pivotal Game 4 against the Oilers live on Sportsnet and SN NOW at 9 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. MT.
