The Los Angeles Kings will be without forward Kevin Fiala on Tuesday night when they take on the San Jose Sharks.
The Kings announced before the game that Fiala was scratched "as a result of violating team protocol by missing a meeting."
Fiala, 28, has four goals and six points over nine games for Los Angeles this season.
The 11-year NHL veteran has spent the last three seasons with the Kings and has compiled 56 goals and 95 points in 160 career games with the club.
Los Angeles signed Fiala to a seven-year, $55.125 million contract after acquiring him from the Minnesota Wild in 2022.
The Kings enter play Tuesday with a 5-2-2 record and sit in second place in the Pacific Division.
