Swedish forwards Carl Grundstrom and Lias Andersson are staying with the Los Angeles Kings after signing contract extensions Monday.
Grundstrom's two-year contract has an average annual value of $1.3 million, while Andersson's one-year contract is worth $750,000 for the 2022-23 season.
Grundstrom tied for the team lead with three goals in six Stanley Cup playoff games in 2022. He had career-highs of nine goals and six assists in 54 games last season.
Selected by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the second round (57th overall) of the 2016 NHL Draft, he has registered 36 points (20 goals, 16 assists) in 129 career regular-season games.
The Kings acquired Grundstrom in the deal that sent defenceman Jake Muzzin to Toronto in 2019.
Andersson had one goal and one assists in 20 games with the Kings last season.
He has seven goals and 10 assists in 109 career NHL games.
