The Seattle Kraken and defenceman Cale Fleury have avoided arbitration as the two sides have agreed to a two-year, $1.6 million contract, Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reported Sunday.
Fleury registered one assist in 12 games with the Kraken last season.
The 24-year-old from Carlyle, Sask., was drafted in the third round, 87th overall, by the Montreal Canadiens in 2017. He was claimed by the Kraken during the expansion draft in 2021.
Fleury has one goal and one assist in 62 NHL games with the Canadiens and Kraken.
