The Seattle Kraken traded a fourth-round pick to the San Jose Sharks in exchange for defenceman Jaycob Megna on Sunday night.
Megna has played in 48 games with San Jose this season and recorded 12 points.
The 30-year-old has spent parts of five NHL seasons with the Sharks and Anaheim Ducks.
The Kraken hold a 29-15-5 record, good for the second-best mark in the Western Conference, while the Sharks are 15-25-11 and sit in seventh place in the Pacific Division.
