Kraken sign defenceman Gustav Olofsson to one-year, two-way deal

The Seattle Kraken have signed defenceman Gustav Olofsson to a one-year, two-way contract.

Olofsson, 26, was drafted in the second round of the 2013 NHL Draft by the Minnesota Wild. In 59 NHL games split between the Wild and the Montreal Canadiens, the Swede produced 11 assists.

Olofsson spent the 2020-21 season with the Laval Rocket, Montreal’s AHL affiliate.
