Seattle Kraken defenceman Jamie Oleksiak has entered the NHL's COVID-19 protocol, the team announced on Saturday.

Oleksiak will be unavailable for Saturday's game against the Edmonton Oilers.

Through 29 games this season, Oleksiak has one goal and nine assists.

Oleksiak is the latest Kraken player to enter the COVID-19 protocol. On Dec. 11, Kraken forwards Yanni Gourde and Riley Sheahan entered the protocol, along with assistant coach Jay Leach.

The Kraken was originally scheduled to play the Toronto Maple Leafs on Sunday. However, due to several positive COVID-19 tests affecting the Maple Leafs, the NHL announced on Saturday that game has been postponed.
