Tampa Bay Lightning star defenceman Victor Hedman did not take warmup and will not play in Game 2 against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Hedman left Game 1 after the first period with an undisclosed injury but was considered day-to-day for Game 2.
The Lightning are also without defenceman Erik Cernak, who was injured on a hit by Michael Bunting in Game 1. Bunting was suspended three games for the infraction. Forward Michael Eyssimont, who was injured in Game 1 after a hit from Jake McCabe, is also not in the lineup for Game 1.
Defencemen Haydn Fleury and Zach Bogosian will be inserted on the blue line while forward Tanner Jeannot will return from injury to replace Eyssimont. For the Maple Leafs, rookie Michael Knies will replace Bunting in the lineup.
You can watch Game 2 live on Sportsnet and SN NOW beginning at 7 p.m. ET.
