Lightning trade Lucas Edmonds to Rangers for Ryder Korczak

The New York Rangers acquired forward Lucas Edmonds from the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday in exchange for forward Ryder Korczak on Saturday.

Edmonds has one goal and five points in 26 games with the AHL's Syracuse Crunch this season.

The 23-year-old from North Bay, Ont., was drafted in the third round, 86th overall, by the Lightning in 2022 after leading the OHL's Kingston Frontenacs with 113 points.

Edmonds has 25 goals and 48 points over three seasons with Syracuse.

Korczak has three goals and 11 points in 35 games with the AHL's Hartford Wolf Pack.

The 22-year-old from Yorkton, Sask., was drafted in the third round, 75th overall, by the Rangers in 2021.
