The Tampa Bay Lightning didn't have an update on winger Nick Paul after he stayed off the ice for the entire third period of a 6-3 win over the Colorado Avalanche on Thursday.
Lightning coach Jon Cooper told reporters he expects to have more information on Friday.
The 28-year-old Paul has 14 goals and 15 assists for 29 points in 54 games with the Lightning this season.
Acquired in a trade with the Ottawa Senators prior to the trade deadline in 2022, Paul has 65 goals and 76 assists for 141 points in 382 career games with the Sens and Lightning.
The Brampton/North Bay Battalion graduate signed a seven-year, $22.05-million contract extension with the Lightning in the summer of 2022.
